REMINDER : Plain baggy clown suits are not fetish wear!

A reminder that for the upcoming Carnival Of Kink party, plain baggy clown suits do not cut it for kink attire and will not pass the fetish dress code. Sin City is a fetish party first and though the theme is super fun and highly anticipated by a tremendous amount of people, it is a carnival party second! All outfits must be kinky or sexy in some way to pass the fetish dress code! Outfits such as ‘just clown makeup’ and an out of the bag Halloween type clown outfit will NOT pass fetish dress code.

The carnival theme is a super easy one to mesh with fetish, but if you are at all unsure, we suggest adding carnival accessories to a fetish outfit rather than starting your planning based on a carnival themed outfit which may or not pass the dress code. KEEP IT KINKY! This is one of our most colourful, madcap, out of control themed fetish parties of the year and you absolutely do not want to miss it because of a lack of attention to your attire!

And just to really drive it home … it bears repeating one more time :

YOU WILL NOT BE PERMITTED ENTRY IF YOU ARE WEARING A NON-FETISH THEMED CHEEZEY OR OUT OF THE BAG CLOWN SUIT.

Advance tickets for Sin Valentine’s are SOLD OUT!

It took just over a day and a half for all 100 pre-sale advance VIP tickets to fly out the door and be SOLD OUT via the Sin City Newsletter!

That’s empirical proof that it be pays to be directly in the loop with us rather than hoping for somewhere like Facebook to deign to let you see the information about the events you follow!

For everyone who didn’t get a ticket in time :

Never fear, that’s only 100 tickets out of our capacity of nearly four times that. We have space for EVERYONE! The other 75% of the tickets are all first come, first serve at the door, but seeing as how it’s one of our busiest parties of the year, we HIGHLY suggest an early arrival to avoid any lineup waits at peak times! Besides, you DEFINITELY won’t want to miss a single second of this event!

100 ADVANCE VIP TICKETS RELEASED FOR SIN VALENTINE’S, BUT YOU NEED THE PASSWORD – READ ON FOR MORE INFO!

14 consecutive years of high-energy fetish parties every 2-4 weeks, 400+ pervy partiers (minimum!) expected at our CRAZY highly-anticipated Valentine’s Fetish Ball, and we are STILL only charging $13-15 for our Sin City Fetish Night events! Why? Because we love our Sinners and never want the cover charge to be a deterrent! And for this party we are releasing 100 VIP advance tickets which get you front of the line entry, something very valuable to have on one of our biggest parties of the year!

Presales tickets are now live, but note that they require a password, which will be mailed out about 20 minutes after this posting to the Sin City Newsletter members. If you have not yet signed up for it, now’s the time!

General public advance sales will open at noon on Saturday IF all the advance tickets have not yet sold, which is highly unlikely! We expect these tickets to disappear very quickly.

NYE – Last Minute Questions, Answers & Recommendations!

We’re into the home stretch before Sin City New Year’s, and we have had a TON of questions coming in! Here’s our own top recommendations to ensure the smoothest running and most fun night possible, as well as the answers to all the top questions we’ve been getting!

WILL THERE BE TICKETS AT THE DOOR?

YES! We are sold out of advance tickets, but we have kept back 25 tickets to release at the door. They are $30 each and are first come, first serve, no holds. If you are there right at 9 PM, you should be good!

WHEN SHOULD I ARRIVE? WILL THERE BE A LINEUP?

We cannot stress this enough – PLEASE ARRIVE EARLY!! This is the single busiest event day of the year, attendance and arrivals peak earlier than any other night and for longer, so please please please SHOW UP EARLY. Every event in the city (including ours!) is expecting 200+ attendees or more to show up basically simultaneously between 10 and 11 PM. No matter how fast the staff hurry people in, this is when waits for cabs and to get in after arriving will be the longest. Do yourself a favour and ARRIVE EARLY!

I MIGHT PARTY-HOP AND COME LATER IN THE EVENING, CAN I GET A DISCOUNT?

YES! Sin City offers a party hopper late night discount! If you arrive after 12:30, it’s only $15 cover to get in!

MY PLANS CHANGED, CAN I SELL/GIVE MY TICKET TO SOMEONE ELSE?

Tickets are non-refundable, but there is a way we can issue your tickets to a third party person for pickup if you can’t make it any more and want to give or sell them to someone else. If you send them a photocopy or scan of your Driver’s License and the credit card you use to purchase the tickets, and these can be presented at the will call, we can issue your tickets to your third party pickup person without you needing to be there.

WHEN ARE THE STAGE SHOWS?

10:15 and 11:15 – don’t be late!

ARE THERE STILL TICKETS TO THE AFTERPARTY?

Yes! There’s just a few left but you can pick them up at Sin City tonight, if you want to attend the Sleepless In Vancouver after party at Club 8×6, which runs 3-7AM!

NEW MAIN ROOM DANCEFLOOR STAGE!

That’s right, you’re going to see some major changes in the main room! The wheels never stop turning behind the scenes and all this week there’s been some major construction going on at the venue which we’re now insanely stoked to reveal for the first time! Right where we used to put the DJ booth on the main dancefloor, there is now a full size performance stage. Not only are we relocating the infamous Sin City dance cages more front and center, we’re also creating an onstage play area with our newest St. Andrew’s flogging Cross, custom built by the good folks at Black & Blue Dungeon Furniture. The area is both front and center on the main stage but also semi-private – you’ll have to check it out and use it tonight to see what we mean 😉

This ALSO leaves lots of space for Sinners to dance up on the stage, and it ALSO leaves plenty of VASTLY improved space for stage performances! And what better way to showcase this than with a suprise sci-fi fetish burlesque show? Which leads us directly to our next announcement!

FETISH DRESS CODE IN EFFECT AS ALWAYS!

A reminder that the fetish dress code is in effect and is ALWAYS the SAME at every Sin City Fetish Night party, whether it’s a regular party or a themed event! If it wouldn’t get in on a regular night at Sin, it will not get in to one of our themed events. The fetish dress code is a hugely important element of fetish events which helps to make attendees comfortable in exploring their wild side in a safe environment where everyone is on the same pervy page!

Other events may lower or change their dress code for themed events – this is not the case at Sin City! We promise to keep it Kinky, Creative & Consistent! Rather than put together an outfit that is fun for the Carnival theme but is not otherwise really that fetish, which runs a chance of not making it in at the door, we HIGHLY encourage attendees to start by taking an acceptable FETISH outfit and then accessorizing it to make it fit the theme! Or you can always just go bare as you dare and get some body paint with our body painter who will be set up on site at the venue!

And of course you don’t even need to follow the theme at all if you don’t want to – the themes are just options to help inspire creativity! Taking part in a big group theme is fun as all hell, but Sinners are always welcome to wear WHATEVER outfit they want at any and all Sin City events so long as they pass the fetish dress code! Themes are never required or mandatory, they are only bonus options! Our only requirement is that all outfits are styled sexy / kinky / fetish / risque in some way!

Spring 2014 Update

WALDORF RE-OPENING PUSHED BACK TO MAY 1

We regret to announce that the re-opening date for the Waldorf has been pushed back to May 1st! While doing their final inspections, a major plumbing issue was discovered which requires a floor being removed during the renovation & upgrade. This is the floor under the Tiki Room and above the main Cabaret Room – no events are possible at the venue while this upgrade construction is taking place. We look forward to re-launching the multi-level, multi-room, hotel takeover Sin City parties this summer when they do re-open with all the renovations finally complete!

IMPERIAL VANCOUVER BECOMES SIN CITY’S NEW PERMANENT VENUE

Our very much loved new venue Imperial Vancouver has formed a very tight partnership with Sin City and has rapidly grown into one of the new favourite venues in the local fetish scene. With just a few exceptions, we’re thrilled to announced The Imperial will be home to Sin City on the second Saturday of each and every month for the forseeable future.

The venue is a gorgeous renovated theater which is absolutely perfect as a home for fetish events. In addition to a relaxed vibe and wonderful staff, the venue itself has tons of comfy lounge seating space, a full size movie theater screen for over the top larger than life fetish visuals, a stage for our truly on stage front and center Dungeon play area, and features a second mezzanine room which you’ll see being used over the upcoming events as a second room for DJs & dancing, as well as a fetish bazaar and marketplace.

Sin City is also returning to a monthly format!

Some 8 years ago now, Sin City expanded to twice monthly. At the time we were at a smaller space and it had become common to see lineups of 90 minutes to two hours at every Sin City event. In order to best serve our attendees, we added an extra party in the month to cut down on the lineups! Now that we are at a venue which is literally double that size, we’ll be staging just one giant, amazing party each month where our Sinners can be guaranteed to have the best time possible. We will occasionally be having an extra party in the month for some of our bigger themes – these parties will be full Sin City Fetish Night events, with the fetish dress code in full effect along with everything else you would expect from Sin City.

We maintain our commitment to KEEP IT KINKY at EACH AND EVERY event that bears the Sin City name!
