Edit – So, no announcement was made on this today.

Perhaps the BC Health Authority meant something different when they said on Tuesday “We’ll make an announcement on this by the end of the week”? Either way, we’ll check in with an update of our own tomorrow / Saturday. Thanks for being patient, everyone!

Hello everyone! Just a quick message to let you know we will have another update tomorrow (Friday Oct 15), late afternoon.

There has been no change since our last update posted in the SIN CITY Fetish Halloween 2021 event listing, so we have nothing new to report as of yet. However! The provincial health authorities have stated they will be giving an update Friday specifically regarding activity and capacity restrictions for indoor events, which indoor venues can expect to come into effect on October 24, when the double vaccination requirement for indoor gatherings comes into full implementation.

Whether or not the events are able to proceed at full capacity and have more tickets released, or, whether we have to stay at 50% capacity tickets sold (which is where we are at right now) with no more tickets being released, or whether the event has to be postponed yet again, is all dependent on what restrictions (if any) are lifted by Halloween.

The main parts of the article which are relevant to indoor nightclub-type events are listed below. While this doesn’t give any full guarantee of anything, it does sound encouraging that, at the very least, we’ll know by this weekend whether we can have dancing again by Halloween. B.C. TO DECIDE ON COVID-19 EVENT CAPACITY CHANGES BY END OF THIS WEEK

The province will decide by the end of this week whether it intends to change the capacity limits for organized events held during the COVID-19 pandemic.

British Columbia is one of the last provinces in Canada with guest number restrictions in place for events like weddings, hockey games, concerts, and theatre performances.

Those rules are now under review, said Dr. Bonnie Henry, as the deadline for requiring proof of double vaccination at events approaches.

“Our intent was always, when the full vaccine card came into effect, that we would be able to go 100 per cent capacity and take away some of the other restrictions we have around some events, like dancing and remaining seated,” said Dr. Henry, the provincial health officer, in a Tuesday press briefing.

Beginning Oct. 24, provincial health orders mandate that event organizers must obtain vaccine card proof of double vaccination, and deny entry to those who can’t produce it.

We know it’s a frustrating and exhausting waiting game right now. Thank you everyone for being so patient while we all wait for more information that will allow us to make further decisions and plans!

PURR – POSTPONED!

Oct 3 update : PURR this weekend is postponed, all tickets have now been refunded.

Hopefully we can lock down a new date for an event and have a new ticket release date before long!

Full Info :

Hello everyone! Thank you all for your excitement and enthusiasm for what we had hoped to be our first event back. When we booked it months ago, things were looking bright, new case counts were consistently very low, and we had easily moved into Phase 3 of the provincial re-opening plans, which gave us the ability to have larger personal gatherings and got us one step closer to Phase, which was due to possibly happen Sept 7. Phase 4 is where indoor dancing becomes permitted, masks become optional, capacity sizes for indoor gatherings are increased. As we know, we have not been able to move to Phase 4 yet due to persistent high numbers of new cases, due to a variety of factors.

With the introduction of the vaccine passport, requiring all attendees of indoor events to be vaccinated, there was hope that restrictions for indoor gatherings of vaccinated attendees would be lifted, but as of today, nothing has been announced by the provincial health authorities in this regard. We can only cross our fingers that this -will- happen by October 24, when the requirement to have all attendees be double vaccinated comes fully into effect.

This leaves us currently still in Phase 3, which means no dancing, masks required, and no mingling, events must be seated. Staging PURR as an outdoor event, or a seated, and/or masked event is not an option, therefore, we are sadly cancelled for this weekend. Hopefully we will have a new date before long, but venues are in very short supply, with weekends booked up until well into the New Year.

A gigantic thank you to everyone for balancing excitement with patience as we wind our way back to in-person events. It’s a difficult and mentally taxing time riding the wave of changes and pulling everything together to be ready for events – all without knowing exactly when the rules may change or what they will change to, but we are getting there and we will be ready when it’s green light time!

In the meantime, we highly encourage everyone to sign up to our direct email Newsletters and move away from relying on social media for news of events like PURR, Sin City Fetish Night, Passion Portal – Enchanted Forest Party, and all our family of Restricted Entertainment events. SEPT 23 – TICKET UPDATE

UPDATE / SEPT 23 :

Hello everyone! A huge thank you to our extended Restricted Entertainment community of family and friends for the crazy support, excitement and enthusiasm for all our Halloween weekend events! Sin City sold out in just a few hours on the day of ticket release, Passion Portal shortly thereafter by the end of the day, and while there are still tickets for our Coffin Club party on October 31, those are going quickly as well! We have an amazing cross-section of creative, weird and wonderful people geared up to celebrate the weekend on all three days of the festival!

There’s still lots of questions and unknowns for attendees, venues and event organizers alike as we move forward through these wild times. There are an unbelievable amount of things which all have to be co-ordinated exactly right for events like these to happen, and while everyone is doing their best, no one can 100% predict for sure what the future holds, and all we can do is plan for the best, but be prepared for whatever outcome happens. Thank you for your patience, support and understanding as we do our best to bring everything needed together to make the events happen, in a way that is transparent and safe for our communities.

OVERVIEW :

We are currently still in Phase 3 of the BC Reopening Plans, which currently means no dancing inside, seated, no mingling between tables, limited capacity, masks etc. Phase 4 will be when indoor dancing becomes permitted, masks become optional, and capacity is increased for indoor events. The date of Sept 7 was given as the earliest date the province would move to Phase 4, but this has been delayed due to the still ongoing persistent high new daily case counts.

As of October 24, it will become mandated that all attendees of indoor events will have to provide proof of double vaccination. The province has indicated they will give further information as to the reopening plans by this date. The general assumption is that indoor events will essentially be permitted to move to Phase 4 at this point. While we would hope for more information earlier rather than later, this is not guaranteed, and we are currently in a holding pattern waiting for more news. When a further news bulletin from the province arrives, it could be many things : no change, everything still closed, or, open, but with capacity restrictions, or, open fully with no restrictions. We must all be prepared for the possibility of any of these things to happen, though of course we are all planning for things to re-open.

The events will only be proceeding if dancing and mingling is permitted with masks optional. If these things are still not permitted by Halloween weekend, the events will be postponed / cancelled, and tickets refunded.

“WILL THERE BE MORE TICKETS RELEASED?”

We are currently at 50% of the capacity of the venue sold out for Sin City & Passion Portal. There are still tickets available for Coffin Club. These are all the tickets we can currently release at this time for the Passion Portal and Sin City parties. We are monitoring all news releases from the Province carefully, and if there is a green light that we can open at a higher capacity, more tickets will be released immediately. We highly recommend signing up to the Newsletters for Passion Portal and Sin City and not relying on social media for news of more tickets becoming available.

“ARE THERE ANY TICKETS IN STORES?”

No. All tickets are online only. There are no printed physical tickets. Beware of scammers!

“WILL WE BE ALLOWED TO DANCE?”

The event will only be proceeding if dancing is allowed, so yes.

“WILL WE HAVE TO WEAR MASKS?”

The event will only be proceeding if masks are optional and not required, so, no.

“WILL WE HAVE TO STAY SEATED AT A TABLE?”

The event will only be proceeding if mingling is allowed, so, no.

“WILL I BE REQUIRED TO SHOW PROOF OF VACCINATION?”

Yes. By the time of Halloween, all legal indoor venues and businesses hosting social gatherings will be required by government mandate and health orders to have all attendees provide proof of double vaccination, and photo ID. BLOCK PARTY – THANK YOU!

A huge and heartfelt THANK YOU from our whole team at Restricted Entertainment and Sin City Fetish Night to everyone who helped out with and attended our kinky Pop-Up Block Party!

After not seeing everyone for a year and a half, we knew we needed to put together a social re-connection event where people could get back out and start to expand their bubbles, but in a way that would feel relaxed and comfortable given all the extraordinary circumstances regulating how, when and where we can gather! We are absolutely thrilled at how well everything came together ❤

The weather and our location turned out frankly PERFECTLY for the event! The space was central but also semi-private and really felt like our own enclave where we could express ourselves out in the sunlight and open air. Gigantic thank you to The Narrow for working with us to create our space around the anchor point of their patio and back lot – and an even bigger thank you for all tasty slushy drinks and food served up to our thirsty, hungry Sinners! The staff were accommodating to us in every way and we are beyond thankful for all the extra touches they brought to our pop-up event.

Massive thank yous to Brian, Shea, and Marc, for helping out in the days leading up to the event, throwing fresh coats of paint on our pop-up production gear, helping fabricate a long table for the central gathering space, running a hundred feet of network cable so we could connect the DJs and the event to our online community and keep it accessible to those who were not able to attend in person! You wouldn’t believe how much background work went into preparing the space for our gathering!

Big thank you to all the people who pitched in at the end to help pack up!

Huge thank yous to our DJ crew, reunited for the first time in a year with Kasey Riot joining myself (DJ Pandemonium) and Evilyn13 for a huge variety of dirty beats!

MASSIVE thank you to Dangerous Goods, who brought down and provided one of their gorgeous spanking benches for the party, and to Switch Kitchen for hosting the spanking area!

Extra thank you’s to Nav and Pika, our front of house check-in and security staff, who came out on short notice and made everyone feel so comfortable and taken care of, right on arrival!

Thank you to everyone who tuned in and partied along remotely with us, connected via our Restricted Entertainment channel on Twitch! There were on average 200-300 people tuned in from all over the world, enjoying the DJs, music, vibe, and online chat!

But most of all THANK YOU to everyone who came out IN THE GLORIOUS FLESH to say hello and hang out!

We know we’ve all developed habits of avoiding groups of people for the last year and as the restrictions lift and this becomes safe and permitted again (under certain guidelines to follow health regulations of course!), it can cause some anxiety as we re-train our brains to feel it’s OK! The amount of people never exceeded about 2/3 of the capacity of the space and there was always lots of room to spread out, and everyone was very comfortable keeping whatever distance they needed. To see everyone so happy to see each other, but also being so understanding and respectful of people’s space and needs, is what our fetish community is all about.
MASSIVE THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO DRESSED UP KINKY! Leather, latex, harnesses and much more were on full display, meshed perfectly with people who chose to come casual, everyone hanging out together and having a great time. HOT DAMN WE ARE A SEXY BUNCH!

We loved seeing you all and can’t wait to do it again!

We are crossing our fingers that we get another weekend before the summer is over where the weather will allow us to have another gathering!
